Sunset on the Mauna Kea Observatories. Mauna Kea, at just under 14k', is one of the best spots on earth for astronomy and is home to numerous observatories. Haleakala, also towering above the clouds, on the Island of Maui is seen just to the right of the twin Keck Observatories.

I've long enjoyed photography. Most of my effort has been in landscape photography, landscape astrophotography and night/long exposure shots.
